What I'm eating

  • Friday lunch: rye bread sandwich with inches of baby spinach, mushrooms, cheese, artichoke hearts
  • Thursday afternoon: eating an apple and some seed filled crackers
  • Thursday lunch: the final leftover soy bombs, with a big pile of rocket leaves & some tahini dressing.
  • Tues lunch with my parents. Pide bread sandwich with avocado, pesto, greens & fetta. Positively delicious. And a coffee.
  • Tuesday breakfast: kamut toast (from Sonoma) with tahini and mum's home-made plum jam

Balance2health seminars - updated

Posted by kathryn in Miscellanea

If you’re in Sydney and interested in coming along to one of my seminars, I’ve updated the schedule on the Balance2health website.

Cooking for one or two

I’ve added two new dates to the Cooking for One series – a second Saturday afternoon and a Thursday evening. You can see all the details here.

Controlling your weight after 40

Once you hit 40 most women start noticing changes to their body and it seems to become more and more difficult to lose and maintain a healthy weight.

In the Controlling Your Weight After 40 seminar I’ll be concentrating on simple practical solutions, as well as some myth busting. We’ll be looking at why it’s harder to lose weight after 40; what happens to your metabolism; ways to beat the common food traps and how to not crash and burn at 3.00pm (or 10.30am!) and give in to the ‘bad food’ cravings. For more information click here.

What’s happening in 2010?

I’ve also started putting together a programme for 2010, including 3 new session topics. The details are here. I’ll be posting more details and reminders closer to the dates.

Let me know by email if you’re interested in any of the sessions.

For those of us NOT in Sydney, is there any way of finding out about the weight-loss after 40 thing? I’m eating like a sparrow and exercising, and having trouble getting rid of my holiday muffin-top!

Hi there Jude, I’m currently investigating how/the best way to turn some of my seminars into podcasts. It won’t be for a few weeks and I’ll post some information if and when it happens.
