Q & A Thursday

This is a Q & A Thursday week. For those new to Limes and Lycopene, Q & A Thursday is a monthly burst of blogging where you get to dictate the subject matter.

Q & A Thursday is all about simple, practical answers to food and diet dilemmas sent in by readers.

If you have a question you’d like answered send me an "email":mailto:me@kathrynelliott.com.au. For more information you can take a look at the Q & A Thursday archives.

Jamie Oliver’s Ministry of Food

In last Friday’s Quicklinks post I referred to a review of Jamie Oliver’s Ministry of Food programme. I didn’t realise at the time, but it’s on TV this evening, here in Australia.

  • Channel 10
  • 7.30pm

Sounds like an interesting programme.

Thanks for the alert about this show – it wasn’t on the tv programs in the weekend papers but the article you linked to on Friday was so interesting that I had to watch this which I only found out from this post

Johanna – it wasn’t in our TV Guide either. Which is strange, given Jamie’s shows usually have a big lead-up. There’s also a book from the series, which should be out about now.

it’s odd how this wasn’t promoted much. i read the article you posted, then the next day saw the book in a bookshop, then i saw that the show was actually airing.

thought it was great by the way, but then i love pretty much everything Jamie does :)

Agreed Lindsey. Wasn’t it an interesting programme. Am very keen to see how the story progresses and what actually happens out of this. I love the Paying It Forward idea, but wonder how practical and realistic it is.

And I think it’s painfully obvious problems are not just about cooking skills.

Complex, complex stuff.
