07.30: Breakfast – tahini bar and orange juice

09.30: Coffee break
- Soy latte – no picture
12.45: Lunch: re-vamped leftovers
I bulked up the pasta sauce from last night by adding – more frozen peas, a tin of chickpeas and a few handfuls of mushrooms.
- 0.25 eggplants
- 2 cloves garlic
- 200g tinned tomatoes
- 0.5 cups frozen peas
- 150g chickpeas
- 150g mushroopms
- The stuff that looks like shaving foam is 2 tablespoons ricotta
- 1 slice toast

17.10: Afternoon snack
- a piece of Afghan bread with ricotta

19.30: Dinner: Thai takeaway
Dinner at a friend’s house. Sorry about the fuzzy photo – but I think you get the drift of my meal.
- Stir fried tofu with cashew nuts, vegetables and chilli
- Rice

20.30 – Dessert
- Maggie Beer’s burnt fig jam, honeycomb and caramel ice-cream

have just started eating chick peas,i made the most delicious hummus today,i cooked the chick peas in my crockpot after soaking them overnite, they took a long time to cook but it was worth it, much nicer and cheaper than the canned variety,loved the sound of the patties,im going to make them this weekend.
