What I'm eating

  • Weds. Lunch: red cabbage salad, with almonds & a shoyu, sesame oil, rice vinegar, tahini dressing.
  • My current snacking obsession is dried figs.
  • Monday. Breakfats: tweaked the scrambled eggs. Mixed through harissa, oven roasted pumpkin and fresh parsley.
  • Saturday. Richard is making pizza. He bought the pizza dough from the local pizza parlour, but is doing the rest himself.
  • Saturday. Pine mushrooms (like these http://ow.ly/1iyxs ) and Swiss browns on toast.

Back from holidays and a couple of reminders

Posted by kathryn in Blogging

I’ve had a wonderful week off – catching up with reading, going for walks, hanging out with my parents, watching dolphins and generally having a relaxing, cruisey time. It rained the first couple of days, but after that my holiday was warm and sunny. I’m just catching up on emails, my reading and other work and I’ll be back with some new blog posts later on today.

But first I have a couple of reminders.

Q & A Thursday

Reminder number one is about the return of Q & A Thursday tomorrow.

If you have any questions about diet, nutrition, food and health, then let me know by leaving a comment or sending me an email. I’ll then post all the questions and answers tomorrow, during Q & A Thursday.

The full list of topics covered so far can be found in the Q & A Thursday roundup.

How to subscribe to Limes & Lycopene

For those of you wanting to keep in touch with Limes & Lycopene on a more regular basis, just a reminder there are a couple of ways you can do this:

  • RSS Feed: many people use RSS readers to keep up to date with blogs and other websites. It’s an easy way of monitoring a number of different sites, as the RSS reader lets you know when updates have been made. If you want to know more, then take a look at Problogger’s beginner’s guide to RSS feeds. The Limes & Lycopene feed address is http://www.kathrynelliott.com.au/feed/rss.
  • Free monthly email newsletter: In about a week’s time I’ll be sending out the inaugural Limes & Lycopene monthly newsletter. This is free to subscribers and contains a short summary of the most popular posts over the last month, as well as special diet and health articles and invitations to try-out new features before they “go live”. There’s more information on the Limes & Lycopene newsletter subscription page.
