A friend sent me a link to cuisine.com.au. This website is based on the recipes published in the The Age, Sydney Morning Herald and NZ Cuisine, so it includes dishes from Bill Granger, Stephanie Alexander, Lynne Mullins, Jill Dupleix and many more. It’s an easy to use, smart looking website, with lots of pictures and recipes categorised by meal, cuisine and also special diets.
There are a couple of functions I really like. The What’s in the fridge? search function enables you to enter three ingredients from your fridge or pantry and this is matched up with the closest recipes. I’ve been having some fun entering both weird and common ingredient mixtures, to see what happens and there are some interesting recipes in there.
You can subscribe to a range of RSS feeds based on a whole series of categories. Plus Steve Manfredi’s interactive cook segments are on there.

Thanks for pointing this one out Kathryn – I’ve just had a quick look it’s a really good site (especially when you’re not ‘local’ and won’t stumble upon any of the recipes in the press). I love Bill Granger’s cooking in particular so I’m going to see if I can find a few of his recipes that I haven’t got already
Great website – love it. I love food!!! Saved to my favourites already.
Sophie and Paul, so glad to hear you like the site. I’m still exploring it, but think it’s a goodie. Over the weekend my RSS reader has filled up with wonderful recipes for roast parsnip & chestnut soup, a Middle Eastern carrot salad, as well as the promise of perfect roast potatoes with rosemary!
