I’ve blogged before about the importance of vegetables and how to get your kids to eat more of them , for more tips here’s a great list from the Nutrition for Kids website.

some good idea here. persistence definitely seems to be key, though it’s easy to become disillusioned when those peas are tossed about the room rather than eaten. I like the idea of trying to leave some just lying around that’s a new one!

You are so right Cooking Chat, persistence is the name of the game. While it can be VERY disheartening at times, it’s really, really, really, really, really, really worthwhile continuing to serve up those vegies. I see lots of parents in clinic, where their littlies are 4 – 6 and don’t eat a thing apart from pasta and lollies.

And once the food choices are narrowed, it’s VERY difficult to get them branching out again. So persist and persist and persist
